Russian Hackers Attack Two Czech Republic Presidential Candidates’ Websites

It has been alleged that a Russian hacking group was behind a cyber-attack on the websites of presidential candidates during the recent presidential election in the Czech Republic.

According to multiple reports by Radio Prague and New Voice of Ukraine, Czech Republic’s National Cyber announced that the attack was conducted by the Russian hackers group known as NoName057. The attackers targeted the websites of two presidential candidates General Petr Pavel and Tomáš Zima by Denial of service attacks (DDoS) on Friday morning.

This incident highlights the potential risks of state-sponsored cyber-attacks on political campaigns and the importance of securing campaign websites. It also serves as a reminder for political campaigns to be vigilant about their online security and to take appropriate measures to protect against cyber-attacks.
